Sweet Tiers Cakery specializes in spectacular custom cakes and decorations and offers an unlimited number of styles to choose from. We can accommodate any style from contemporary and traditional to retro and modern. We use the freshest ingredients and are small enough to provide distinctive personal care and attention throughout the entire process.
A cake is an integral part of your celebration. It's much more than a dessert: it's a conversation starter, a decoration, an elegant backdrop for your photos and some parts even become a keepsake.
We specialize in custom cakes for all occasions, including birthdays, weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, sweet sixteens, graduations, baptisms, confirmations, communions, bar/bat mitzvahs, holidays, anniversaries, corporate events and more! We service New York and all of the major boroughs (Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx, Staten Island) as well as New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We've traveled as far as North Carolina to deliver our cakes!
How do we get started?
Many of our clients start off by providing us with a picture of a cake that they truly love. In most cases, our clients will send several pictures to us for inspiration - from there, we work with you to identify the most captivating elements of each cake and then sketch an idea or two on paper for you.
By the second or third sketch, we've typically captured everything that will make your vision come alive. There aren't many limits as to what we can do with sugar so creativity and thinking outside the box can be very rewarding.
In general, we need at least two weeks notice for custom orders. We book our event dates far in advance so we advise that you contact us as soon as you have your venue booked and are ready to proceed with a design. The entire process, from engagement to contract takes a few days and guarantees that we lock in the date for you.
We provide at-home tastings for most of our cakes and usually have a generous selection of flavor combinations available. We can accommodate up to 6 people for tastings so we encourage you to bring family and friends together to take part in your decision.
Custom Candy Tables
We specialize in elegant candy tables with full custom glass jars and glassware to fit any occasion.
If you're looking for something that's really extra-special for your event then you might be interested in a candy buffet. Candy buffets have become very popular in recent years as they can match the colors, style and theme with some of your favorite candy selections. Guests can enjoy candy before and during your event - it's an all around crowd pleaser for both children and adults.
We source our candy and chocolate from many specialty manufacturers so you can remain confident that you're receiving quality candy with unique colors and flavors. All of our baked goods (i.e. cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, etc) are baked in-house using tried and true family recipes. We pride ourselves on honest ingredients and small batches in order to maintain our quality standard.
Much of our business comes from personal recommendations and that’s a true testament to the quality and reputation of our brand. We encourage special requests and specific directions and can accommodate a wide range of dietary concerns.

All of our recipes have been perfected to produce moist, well balanced cakes without the use of artificial ingredients. We bake in small batches and love to experiment.
